I've had the pleasure of meeting his entire family on many occasions. I always use one word to describe their entire family: class. It's like they went to the Ron Francis/ Al MacInnis school on how to be a proper hockey player. They are all extremely down to earth, yet extremely driven. This couldn't have happened to a nicer individual. I still remember telling him in '05 that if he busted his tail, he was going to make the team (Avs), but not only make it, accel at the NHL level. He shrugged it off (as he always does) and said that (i'm paraphrasing) all he can do is "play hockey and have fun doing it, and hope that the coaches like his style." I wish I had his attitude. Oh and on the $6.6 mil a year, that's a great deal when you consider what it would cost to acquire Paul on the open market, or through trades. Congratulations Paul!
